It's 1:37am if I go to sleep now... I'll get 5 hours of sleep.

Night 4 of not being able to sleep.
I've always been a night person by nature.
But I'm only catching a few hours of sleep here and there
and I'm feeling it.  Anxiety, agitation... I need sleep!
My nerve pain keeps me up, thoughts keep me up, worrying keeps
me up... it's an endless cycle.
I had planned to write a little something about it..
but my mind isn't functioning.

I'm going to try to lay down.. it's now 2am... I could
be back up in an hour.  But I hope, I just want sleep.

What setting do you use?

Sometimes I'll get really lucky when I take a picture and people will start asking me questions like, "What settings did you use?" "What kind of lens did you use."

My answer is always the same... I used the Auto setting and the only lens I have is the one attached to my camera!

I don't know the first thing about settings, I've tried to self learn with tips, advice and videos found on the internet about photography. None of it makes any sense to me.

The only thing that makes sense is seeing scenes that seem like photographs to me. I'm sure that doesn't even make sense. It's like my mind can look at a scene and one part of it stands out as a snap shot. And I'm running for my camera.

One day I will get a pro camera.. or something close to it and I will learn all about settings and the different lenses I could use for different situations.

But seeing how I am unemployed and just trying to make rent every month.. .I'll just use the camera's I have and just take pictures of the snap shots that stand out in my minds eye. :)

I'm still trying to figure out how this blog works.  Maybe soon I'll start to write every single day. I'll have to look at some other blogs and figure out how to set it up better.  And then I'll just ramble, it's not like I have anything else to do!

People say...

Do something with your photography. I'm not sure what they want me to do. I use pocket camera's. And when you extend the pictures out to full size, there is so much noise and the pictures are too "soft". I get so discouraged. I look through galleries and see so many amazing pictures. I think now with digital photography.. everyone is a photographer! I just want to take pictures that make me happy and not have all this pressure to "do something" with them.

Too much noise

(Don't try to steal my pictures!!)

I'm getting very frustrated with my camera's. I think I've gone as far as I can with point and shoots - but I can't afford anything better and even if I could, I wouldn't know how to use the pro camera's.

I hate how much noise I get and the distraction of the backgrounds.
There is only so much you can do in photoshop... or in my case, psp (paint shop pro)

But, I still manage to get some pretty pictures here and there...
